My Thoughts on Web 2.0

(For CSIS 1000-- which I should have taken as a Freshman like I was told)

Web 2.0 is the movement that has made the Internet a social network more than anything else. I am intrigued by how quickly the Internet changed into being a purely informative device to being user-oriented and user-created. The internet is now more about the content of the pages and not necessarily what they look like. I agree very much with this statement, although the appearance of pages is still important, the ways in which designers are trying to be impressive have changed. The important elements of pages are ways in which the user interacts with them. The ability to type, alter, and change text or images to fit the user are available on nearly every site. It will be interesting to see how the Internet continues to change.

This is a really well put together video that visually demonstrates Web 2.0.
