i got to go home for the weekend and spend a lot of time with my mom. we had so much fun. i miss her and can't wait for our spring break adventures and our *pending* trip to disneyland for my graduation.
tonight, i'm back in my apartment where i take care of myself. it's nice to be back, but it was nice to be spoiled for a while. we went shopping and i bought new jeans, (in a size 8-- which pleases me immensely), and a red rain jacket. we ate many delicious meals. and i had my first cadbury eggs of the season. i'm reading amazing ntozake shange books for my african-american lit paper (which definitely has the potential to be the best paper i have ever written: think birdcage theory meets contemporary african-american novels) and i got two new moleskine notebooks.
it feels great to be this happy.
