why is it that the season finales of rupaul's drag race and how i met your mother have to coincide with closing? the residents are gone and i have nothing to watch on tv. i somehow feel empty.
tomorrow my last 5 cas check-out and then halls will be empty (well, except for the conference guests who will arrive in a few weeks) for the summer. the silence is already driving me crazy and i'm yearning for tasks, phone calls, projects, and the busy that i'm so used to. the extreme chaos to nothing is still rough for me to handle.
as much as i want this summer of relaxation to last, i'm looking forward to the class of 2017 to move in. they're why i'm here and why i do this. i guess it's time to spend the next few months reminding myself of that.
Can I come visit you and introduce you to my slew of sitcom commitments (have you tried the Mindy Project?). I know I have threatened to visit you before and then failed to deliver, but I could use a getaway and you are one of my favorite long-lost friends.
