that's the least amount of time i'm going to stay at asu in my acd role. and that one year countdown starts today. but, i don't want to look at it as a countdown. i want it to see this as an exciting year-long journey as a young professional figuring her life out.
i know it's going to be crazy and i'm probably going to want to quit many times before this date. but, at the end of this year i want to know one of two things: asu is absolutely right for me and i want to stay here a while longer or, i'm transferring my graduate credits and moving on to a new university. to be honest, i hope the first instance is true.
day one went pretty well, if i do say so myself. i did my first challenge: i invited the majority of the female pro staff over to my apartment for a "sunday crafternoon" this weekend. it's going to be good. crafts, snacks, and friends. what better way to celebrate our new staff arrivals and my 6 month feat?
